Practicum Observation

Being a trainer for the pre-service trainee teachers, inevitably, I will have to conduct supervision while the trainees are having their practical teaching in schools. It is amazing to find that a lot of them have very creative and innovative ideas in helping students to learn and to practice their skills.

Here’s a brief description of what I have encountered:

  1. Wheel of organs and verb indicating the function or sensation. 
    This is done for the preschoolers. The wheel is consisting of two layers, where the outer ring (larger layer) shows the organs where as the inner ring (smaller portion) shows the verbs represent the function (sensation).
    Students rotate the outer ring or inner ring to match the organ with the verb
